What you do with it
Every answer shows its source. Every change to what Cerebrus knows is shown to you first.
Answers come only from your project's current documents, with the page behind every claim. If the documents do not say, Cerebrus says so.
What notice do we give Northwind to terminate the supply agreement?
Terminate with 60 days' written notice . Invoices are payable within 45 days .
6.2Either party may terminate this Agreement by giving not less than sixty (60) days' written notice.
Type "learn that…" in chat. A card shows what it understood, and whether each statement is new, already known or replaces a value. You confirm, revise or cancel.
Learn that Northwind invoices are payable within 60 days, that early payment earns a 2% discount, and that Priya Nair is the account manager.

Nothing changes until you confirm.
Upload the newer document. Only the values it contradicts are retired, and the Corrections view shows old next to new.

Only these two values retired. The rest of the 2023 agreement still answers, and you never said which version to believe.
Remove a document and see first what changes. The older values it replaced come back.

Upload the 2025 amendment and only the values it contradicts retire. The rest of the 2023 agreement keeps answering. You never say which version to believe.
Retired values stay in the history and never reach an answer again. No one acts on a superseded price or policy.
Private by construction
Cerebrus reads your folders without changing them, keeps every project under its own key, and runs on AI keys your organisation already holds.
Follow a Google Drive or OneDrive folder, including folders shared with you. New and changed files are read, deleted ones removed. Cerebrus never adds, changes or deletes anything there.
Documents, passages, facts and chats are encrypted at rest under the project's own key, protected by a master key kept outside the database. Delete the project and its key is destroyed: the data can never be read again.
Gemini, OpenAI, Claude or OpenRouter answer; Google, OpenAI, OpenRouter or Voyage AI search. Every call is priced and traced to the project, document and chat that caused it.
The honest limit. Your AI provider still sees the text it is asked to process. That is why the keys are your organisation's, under the terms you already agreed with that provider.
